Roles and Profiles of the Conceptual Plan Consultants and Project Consultant
In July 2009, the WKCDA appointed three Conceptual Plan Consultants and one Project Consultant to assist in drawing up master layout plan options for the development of the West Kowloon Cultural District.
The three Conceptual Plan Consultants will each be responsible for preparing a conceptual plan option, taking into account public views, and the planning and design parameters laid down by the WKCDA. These conceptual plan options will be put forward for comments by the general public and various stakeholders during the upcoming Public Engagement Exercise.
The Project Consultant will be tasked to realise the selected conceptual plan into a Development Plan for submission to the Town Planning Board. The Project Consultant is also responsible for preparing the Schedules of Accommodation for the various arts and cultural facilities, taking into consideration the views received during the Public Engagement Exercise. |
