Public consultation on WKCD Conceptual Plans nears as Consultation Panel discusses arrangements for Stage 2 PE exercise

Graham at APAOn June 28 the Consultation Panel of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (the Authority) met to discuss the proposed arrangements for the Stage 2 Public Engagement (PE) exercise for the West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD). During the meeting, Panel members gave constructive views on the use of new media, development of educational tool kits, exhibition venues, and the format of the consultation exercise.

WKCDA executive team fully in place

Graham at APAThe WKCDA has filled all executive director positions with the appointment of Mr Lars Nittve as Executive Director, M+ on 23 June. In his new capacity, Mr Nittve will be responsible for all content and exhibitions of M+, a groundbreaking new museum concept planned at the future West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD), and the Exhibition Centre with a focus on arts, culture and the creative industry.

Chartering a new course for WKCD: Louis Yu

Graham at APALouis Yu, a Hong Kong born and bred arts administrator, has moved a step forward with his recent appointment as the Performing Arts Policy and Management Services Executive Director of the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority (the Authority). He is determined to stay the course and move ahead with caution, until his efforts have borne fruit.
