As the younger generation will be the key users of WKCD, the WKCDA conducted a youth forum on 20 November as the finale event for the Stage 2 Public Engagement exercise. Over 100 secondary students and youngsters attended the forum held at InnoCentre in Kowloon Tong. Mr Graham Sheffield, Chief Executive Officer of the WKCDA, Professor Stephen Cheung, Consultation Panel Chairman of the WKCDA and the three conceptual plan consultants were there to listen to viewpoints from young people. During the forum, local theatre actress Kearen Pang and pianist Rachel Cheung shared their experiences as artists and also their aspirations for the district.

On 13 November, the Authority conducted two public forums at InnoCentre to collect public views and comments on the three Conceptual Plan Options prepared by the three world-renowned master planning teams. The two forums attracted over 150 members of the public. They were enthusiastic in expressing their views on the development of WKCD in the discussion session.
