Temporary site opening arrangement
Construction works of the West Kowloon Cultural District will commence in phases starting from 2013. During the interim period, the West Kowloon Cultural District Authority will open part of the headland area for public enjoyment as well as for staging various types of events and activities. The West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade (as marked on the map below) will be open to the public during normal opening hours, except during construction works and events, including events preparation and dismantling.
Opening hours
6 am to 11 pm daily, except otherwise stated.
WKCD site announcement
The West Kowloon Waterfront Promenade will undergo events preparation work and will be temporarily closed to the public on the certain dates. Please refer to the below table for details. Sorry for any inconvenience caused.
Getting here
WKCD lies within the Yau Tsim Mong District and is bounded by Canton Road in the east, the Western Harbour Crossing entrance and Austin Road West in the north and Victoria Harbour in the west and south.
