The West Kowloon Cultural District Authority organised guided tours for secondary school students to visit the "2009 Hong Kong and Shenzhen Bi-City Biennale of Urbanism and Architecture" (the Biennale) in February 2010. The Biennale was an event organised by the Hong Kong Institute of Architects. Through the tours, students gained first-hand experience in the pleasant environment and the spaciousness of the future West Kowloon Cultural District (WKCD). They were briefed about the preparation of the Development Plan for the WKCD.
